Sara A. Blankenship is a certified nurse practitioner (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) specializing in family medicine. She was born and raised in Northwest Louisiana and lives in Bossier City. She attended Southern Arkansas University where she graduated in 2011 with her associate of science degree in nursing. Blankenship had a desire to develop a more personal relationship with her patients, so she went on to further her education. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2017 and a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2020 from Northwestern State University.
Blankenship’s background in nursing includes adults, pediatrics, gastroenterology and intensive care. After graduation and certification as a family nurse practitioner, Blankenship joined Pierremont Family Physicians, an established practice at Willis-Knighton Health System.
Blankenship is compassionate and dedicated to delivering high-quality care to her patients. Her goal is to focus on the whole person. She understands that each individual is unique and respects diversity when it comes to comprehensive care. She believes patients are an integral part to achieving total health and wellness.
In her spare time, Blankenship enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, reading, shopping and spending time outdoors.
Blankenship welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
